Hi guys and welcome back to my blog today. Is your website not getting the love it deserves? Well, let me help you out with my top 10 tips of boosting traction to your website.

Tip 1: Get to know your audience

My advice here would be to look at the type of website you have and try to imagine the type of viewer that would be using your website. Try understanding why they may be using your website and promote that aspect of your website for more searches.

Tip 2: Use popular phrases/keywords

If a word or phrase is popular in the media, try using it as part of your website. Therefore, when people search that word, and it is related to your website there is a better chance they may find your website.

Tip 3: Keep your content fresh

In my opinion, you should keep updating your content, as the more updated your content is, the more likely search engines are to avail of your website.

Tip 4: Meta tags

You may not know this but most websites you look at probably have a hidden meta tag. A meta tag can have various types of information on it such as your title page, pictures or descriptions related to your website. This may increase your search hits.

Tip 5: Work off referrals

Search engines also take into account when ranking websites, the amount of times your website is mentioned or cited on other websites. So, the more your website appears on other website, the higher you will rank.
