10 Hot Tips to Boost Your Website Ranking

Salesforce Trailhead Training

Hi guys and welcome back to my blog today as I take your through some of the courses, I have recently taken part in on the Salesforce platform, Trailhead.

Content Analytics and Intelligence

The first course I completed was all about how companies analyse data linked to content posts and how people engage and interact with them. This type of analysis is important to creators so they can see what content audiences engage with the most. This can be just as simple as a brand looking at its last few Instagram post and seeing which post got the most likes. The one with the most likes, must have been the most engaging for the content viewers. Therefore, the brand then knows to post more of that style of content. Analytics is so important for marketers to make sure they are delivering the right content, to the right people, on the right platform. This helps steer creators in the right direction and produce content people really want to see instead of just making content without any real focus or purpose. Businesses can then revise their content strategy and tailor content towards the data that has been collected and analysed.

Brand Voice and Tone

The second course I took part in was all about how a brand creates their voice, so it is recognisable to consumers. The voice of a company is all about consistency across all marketing of the brand. The voice must give a true and honest representation of the brand and their values. The voice of a company seems to be more formal and more of what you would see if you visited the company’s website. However, tone is all about informality and changing the delivery depending on the audience. For example, Ryanair, their tone across all social media platforms is all about humour. They reply to comments and post Tik Toks in a playful and sarcastic manor that is consistent. This style works on social media platforms because they connect directly to their audience.

Content Calendar Planning

So, you may be asking what is a content calendar? Well, a content calendar is essentially a plan that is created to schedule what content is posted and when. This is mainly used by brands to ensure they are posting content consistently. Brands can plan content posts depending on the season, campaigns, and initiatives the company is trying to promote at that time. Before creating a content calendar, brands should analyse their current content pattern and build upon that.
